One hundred years ago Dr Marie Stopes published her book Married Love, which brought the issue of birth control into the public eye and proved as popular as it was divisive.
Having bought the Higher Lighthouse on Portland as a refuge from the storms battering her on the mainland, a collision of cultures is inevitable. How will she change the Islanders’ ways of thinking and how will she be changed by Portland? Followed by a post-performance Q&A with the AsOne ensemble.
