Hailed by the Guardian for his “exquisite guitar playing” Eduardo Niebla is a formidable flamenco and jazz guitar virtuoso.

Continually seeking out new musical terrain he has collaborated with such diverse partners as George Michael, Craig David, sitar maestro Nishat Khan, Lol Coxhill (sax) and the Dante String Quartet.

In this show, Niebla presents an amazing repertoire of “stunning flamenco jazz” (The Sound) from his latest albums brilliantly accompanied by guitarist Matthew Robinson & tabla player Dharmesh Parmar.

The programme will be a snapshot of Eduardo’s international life; a passionate journey from his early years in Morocco, to his impoverished roots in Spain and his discovery of jazz and the freedom of improvisation.

Pieces such as Calle de la Tina vividly evoke the life of Granada, Rosie the influence of Arabic culture, My Gypsy Waltz his dedication to gypsies, whilst the Django Reinhardt inspired I Can Fly Now says it all.
